Wavewulf due to release new album The North and the Sea later this week.

Wavewulf is here with a new album, The North and the Sea, due to be released later this week. 15 tracks long, the new addition to the impressive body of work Wavewulf has built, The North and the Sea takes listeners through a sonic journey through Scandinavian and Arctic seas with powerful compositions laden with intricate electronic keys.

The album’s lead single ‘Luft’ was released last week (18/03) and is the perfect embodiment of all things Wavewulf, with abstant tones and mesmerising synth melodies infused with hints of John Carpenter and Kraftwerk with modern pop sensibilities.

Speaking on this latest album Wavewulf stated: The album was inspired by a recent trip to Iceland. At a time when I was feeling claustrophobic and disconnected, I found a sense of freedom in the power of the sea. Being alone, being together, being connected, being disconnected.”

Make sure to check out The North and the Sea. Out on the 25/03.
