Get ready to groove with award-winning Irish cellist Clíodhna Ní Aodáin’s “Full Circle – Cellos for Trees”.
Clíodhna has composed a multi-track cello piece to invite cellists from around the world to participate in creating a beautiful music video project. This is your chance to get creative and show off your cello skills!
Each cellist is asked to choose a part to play and then make a video of themselves playing under their favourite tree. The cellists’ videos will then be combined to create a virtual forest of cellos and trees. Get ready to be transported to another realm with Clíodhna’s music.
Her compositions meld contemporary and traditional styles to create a new genre that evokes the atmosphere of the Otherworld. Clíodhna’s call to finish the task of planting 10,000 trees is inspired by the early Celtic people’s sacred reverence for their environment.
With the track “Full Circle – Cellos for Trees” released on Earth Day, this is your chance to join the movement and make a real difference in the world.
