Clíodhna Ní Aodáin’s For the Love of Trees has drawn praise from respected musicians ahead of its August 14, 2026 release. The album, coming through Curve Blue, presents seven intimate pieces inspired by trees and deep listening.
Eugene Friesen, four-time Grammy Award-winning cellist and composer, describes the recording as creating “a sense of safety and familiarity” as the imagination enters the trees. He also compares its atmosphere to old chapels and great cathedrals, emphasizing both humility and grandeur in the music.
